My sister’s name is Akshitha Rajagopalan. If you can hear me, know that I love you with all my heart.

Photo by author. It was the first time in months that I saw my sister smile and look me in the eyes like that. I shot this picture of her a few weeks ago on a local beach in New Jersey. Her smile is so beautiful :) It is a picture I will never forget.
